JEWEL BOX: Using your scraps to make a colorful quilt

Lisa Gandy has been quilting since 2007 and teaching since 2009. Her favorite quilts to make look difficult but go together easily! It’s her signature style and JEWEL BOX is another example of an easy quilt that looks challenging.
Participants should bring the following to class: rotary cutter, cutting mat, sewing machine, and extension cord.
Here is the fabric needed for this quilt, in two sizes. You choose which size you want to make.
THROW QUILT 48 X 64
82 (5 square inch colored squares) This can come from your stash or you may purchase a variety of fabric totaling 1 1/2 yds.
82 (5 square inch background squares) totaling 1 1/2 yds of fabric
20 (5 square inch accent squares) totaling 2/3 yd.
Setting triangles 3/4 yd.
QUEEN 99X99
220 (5 INCH COLOR SQUARES) totaling 4 yds
220 (5 inch background squares) totaling 4 yds.
55 (5 inch accent squares) totaling 7/8 yds
Seting triangles 1 and 1/2 yd
Lisa will be supplying lunch.
